I have two opinions about the Polar M430 and bear with me because they’re a bit contradictory.
If you want the best in WRIST BASED heart rate monitoring then the M430 can promise that.
Adds solid wrist-based heart rate tracking, better GPS, sleep tracking and smartphone notifications
The Polar M430 is an excellent combination of no-frills simple yet completely fully featured. It is unobtrusive in the simplicity of its hardware yet can act as a personal trainer daily in training for something as demanding as a marathon.
It IS a good, accurate and featured-packed smart watch for running. If you add in support for other sports and for activity/sleep tracking then it’s a definite ‘BUY’ recommendation
The M430 includes built-in GPS (with low-power modes), a six-LED heart rate sensor and better indoor activity tracking, thanks to an upgraded accelerometer and tweaked software algorithms.
A solid upgrade to the M400, with impressive GPS and sleep tracking 87%
It’s big, fat and hard to live with permanently, but the M430 is much better when you break it out for running specifically
The Polar M430 fitness tracker looks similar to its predecessor, the M400, but adds heart rate monitoring and improved indoor tracking.
