We have always heard that IMPOSSIBLE says that I’M POSSIBLE but the one man who made this into a reality is none other than the Ironman of India, Milind Soman who is now an Ultraman. He just completed the Florida Ultraman race, which is considered one of the toughest marathons in the world.
The mantra of Livingit is to Live your passions and Milind Soman has proved that he is living the passions every moment; he is beyond the unbeatable. The 51-year-old completed the Florida Ultraman 517.5-kilometre race.
Ultraman Florida is a 3-day event guaranteed to test the mental and physical limits of an athlete. As per the Ultraman Florida official site, the race covers a total distance of 321.6 miles (517.5 kilometers), around central Florida, it requires that each participant complete a 6.2 mile (10 K) open water swim, a 263 mile (423 K) bike ride, and a 52.4 mile (84 K) ultra-marathon run. Day 1 is a 6.2 mile swim and 92 mile bike, Day 2 is a 171 mile bike, and Day 3 is a 52.4 mile run.
To add to this, Milind Soman was the only barefoot runner. Kudos to him and his spirit! Along with Soman, four other Indians – Abhishek Mishra, Kaustubh Radkar, Prithviraj Patil and Manmadh Rebba – completed the race. He is truly an inspiration for all of us and #Livingit every moment.
