The Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX makes backpacking and hiking easier and a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. This lightweight and supportive boot borrow the advanced technology from running shoe so as to offer comfort and stability. The ergonomic tongue offers additional comfort while the upgraded laces keep the shoe snug on your feet all day long. Fresh design details and fantastic grip makes this boot a must-have for those strenuous trekking and backpacking sessions.

The lightweight shoes keep the weight down while the entirely waterproof boots ensure that no puddles, rain, snow or muddy trails can stop you from conquering the terrains. The high top cuff provides ample protection to the ankles and reduces the strain that it might be facing. The nubuck leather textiles along with the nylon mesh upper offer optimal breathability and comfort. The rugged looks add to the overall appeal of the boots. This full-on backpacking boot design is unquestionably ideal for those treks that take you high up on those magnificent mountains, makes you cross muddy trails, challenges you to brave the rain and make your way ahead.

Upper

Long-lasting split suede leather and nylon mesh uppers provide breathability, lightweight comfort and flexibility. GORE-TEX waterproof protection keeps the moisture away.

Midsole

The dual density Thermoplastic urethane midsole supports aids in controlling flex, enhancing stability, protecting feet from rough terrain and reduce ankle strain.

Outersole

The Contagrip® rubber outsoles keep you moving forward across rough surfaces, both wet and dry.  The conveniently spaced lugs aren’t the tallest or most aggressive looking in the market, but are unfathomably grippy on the dry stuff and shed mud quite well in the wet.

Ankle Support/Collar

Due to the considerably high height of the boot, the snug fit and usage of tough materials, ankle protection is top notch. Over the ankle support gives an adequate amount of cushion and protection from ankle twisting in rocky terrains.

Tongue

Gusseted and padded tongues have a contoured instep fit. The tongue folds lie flat and smooth to relieve lace pressure while keeping the trail debris and moisture out.

Lacing System

Laces feature sheath materials which offer soft flex and secure grip thereby keeping knots secure while you are on the move.

Toe cap and Heel Counter

The rubber toe caps safeguard toes and uppers from abrasion and other potential injuries. Rubber heel cap protects from bumps and abrasion while the Heel strap assists in easy wearing

Insole/Footbed/Sock Liner

Removable footbeds absorb shock while the anti-odour properties ensure that your feet remain fresh on those long adventures.

Interiors (Lining)

The Seam-sealed Gore-Tex® membranes provide unrivalled protection from water and allow vapour to escape to help keep feet dry and cool.
