Fit – The proper fitting of the shoe impressed almost all the users. A few users, however, felt that fitting of the shoes would be perfect if bought half or one size larger. One of the users felt that the shoe still felt stiff even with one size larger. A few users also had blister issues on the heels, side feet, and toes.

Comfort – While hiking miles over loose rocks and dirt as well as climbing uphill and downhill, the shoes felt comfortable and the users were happy about it. Some users also stated that the wide toe box adds to the overall comfort. One of the users, however, felt fatigued wearing the shoe after hiking for the entire day. Another user stated that her toe was sore from wearing the shoe which was stiff.

Traction – Be it easy or moderate hiking, the shoe offered fantastic traction, which the users liked. The users also mentioned that the shoe had a great grip on the rocky and slippery terrain. Some users found that after heavy use, the traction was wearing off and the shoe tended to slip.

Protection – Users loved the arch support of the shoe stating that it helped especially while carrying heavy backpacks. Some of the users felt that the shock absorption feature should be more effective at the sole, but otherwise, she felt satisfied with the protection.

Support – The arch and mesh side supports as well as the ankle support was thoroughly liked by the users. Users were impressed with the cushioning support saying that it served well in hiking through rocky terrains. Some users with high arches felt lack of arch support in these shoes.

Quality – Users were happy with the quality of the Keen Voyageur stating that they loved the overall comfort and sturdy construction. One of the users found a defect in the toe box while another felt that the shoe pulling loop was not sturdy.  

Waterproof – Even after hiking long miles, the feet remained dry and fresh without moisture and the users were satisfied. One user also mentioned that standing in a deep puddle as well as in light rain and snow, the waterproofing feature of the shoe kept their feet dry. A few users felt that the shoes were not waterproof at all.

Breathability – The ventilated structure, especially the mesh sides kept the feet dry and added breathability, so felt the users. With the feet remaining cool, users felt that the shoe was perfect for hiking in summer. One user, however, felt too hot wearing the shoe.

Weight – Users liked the light weight of the boots which made them flexible. They also added that it was easy to walk around for daily works as well as day hikes wearing this shoe. Some users felt that the shoe was pretty heavy and bulky for them.

Insulation – The feet were toasty and dry even while hiking in heavy winter, thereby, users felt that the shoes were a great choice for winter hiking. A few users also added that combing them with winter hiking socks would add to the insulation.

Durability –The sturdiness of the shoe made the users fall in love with KEEN boots.

Looks – While a few users felt the shoe was not that much good looking, some of them also agreed that the rugged style was fit for hiking rather than for casual wearing. However, some users were not impressed with the bulky and puffy look of the shoes on their feet. One user also did not like the color scheme of the Keen Voyageur.

Price – The boots are easily affordable and users were happy about saving money on a great product. Some users did not seem satisfied with the cost of the shoe.

Offered at a pocket-friendly price, the Keen Voyageur comes up with a rugged style which may not be good-looking enough for daily wear but will serve you efficiently in long hikes. The mesh sides and uppers of the shoe made it excellently breathable to keep your feet dry for long hours while the proper insulation ensures hiking in cold weather without any cold feet issue. For adding protection come the sturdy arch shanks to keep your feet flexible. Finally, the ankle and arch support is there to accompany you for long hours of hiking in rugged terrains. The fit might be stiff and narrow to you, so better go with half or one size larger.
