Bottomline

Columbia’s Newton Ridge plus 2 boots are lightweight and provide good support, protection and traction. The waterproofing works though it affects the breathability. Users with wide feet should try before buying. A good suggestion would be to wear socks covering the ankle area to avoid get blisters. At the price, they are great value for money. Recommended for light to medium hikes as heavy hikes will wear out the soles faster.
